It would be a ghastly surprise to me if you folks are not aware about this musical genius! A person who can put me to sleep like a baby (apart from my educational books of course), Yanni is a self-taught Greek pianist, keyboardist & composer. Sadly, the force above failed to gift him with the 1st 'r' in 'Greek-charisma' which gives a whole new dimension to the phrase.Of course, you can always check out Wikipedia for his entire autobiography but that would be an utter waste of time if you did not have proof of his sleep-inducing abilities right?
So click on the link below to be transported into a world of peace, calm, melancholy & nostalgia.
My two personal favourites are 'Nostalgia' & 'Nightingale'. For those of you who like these kind of musical pieces, I'd suggest you listen to other composers like Richard Clayderman (Now girls, HE is worth a second look!) & Enya as well.
So, the next time you have a heated argument with your mom, you know what to make her listen to! Sweet dreams...
