The Facebook "Master Control"

Hang in there, fellow Facebook frequenters. You're soon going to get the control you wanted.

According to Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's privacy settings will soon be changed (again?). But don't you worry. As per Zuckerberg in his recent editorial in the Washington Post, his company has understood what the users want to see happen (finally). The privacy settings will be highly simplified in this re-re-introduced system. Users will have three simple options. They will decided among three levels of sharing information: everyone, friends of friends or friends only. Simplified? I guess so.
Users will also be given "an easy way to opt-out of third party services as the recently launched Instant Personalisation feature". Okay, good. I'm assuming that the folks at Facebook finally realized that to ensure members continue to "like" their website, they need to pay attention to what people really "like" - privacy.

It will be a nice change, I hope, to see people finally praise the social networking site that one in every 14 people on this planet use to keep in touch with old friends, share media or simply raise a farm.
