Extra dimensions are always intriguing, aren't they? Ever since I started integrating 4D volumes in that unanimously hated Calculus class, I wondered: What would a 4D object look like?
Then again, what is a dimension? Is a dimension confined to space, alone? Of course, we could consider that ever-so-illusory dimension of time and some might argue that time isn't really a dimension because it's unidirectional while others will argue the opposite. But way far East, the South Koreans have added quite a few elements to the x, y, z concoction.
There's a theater in South Korea that is currently screening Avatar. And they've bettered James Cameron's 3D promise. For an amount of approximately $15, the theater owners promise Avatar in 4D. The fourth dimension, in this case, is a feast for all five of your senses. The theater presents the audience with moving chairs, wind, water sprinklers and even synthetic smells.
Perhaps, the home of the Na'vi would be more fascinating in the fourth dimension.
